Baptiste Donat


As a child Baptiste was already passionate about cooking and he was lucky to learned from renowned chefs of the region.

He worked along with Mathieu DURAND during his debuts at Pigonnet in Aix en Provence, his home town, then with Philippe Boucher star chef at the Auberge de Cassagne in Vaucluse.

Back at the Pigonnet, he met Philippe JOURDIN "Meilleur Ouvrier de France 1993" and two stars Michelin (in 2002 and 2009), and then also the chef Mickael FEVAL.

Finally, he continued his experience with Mathias DANDINE star chef at Saint Esteve * in Les Lodges Sainte Victoire.

These chefs have passed on their knowledge him, their love for local products without denaturing them.

At 25, Baptist is ready for his first challenge, take the lead of the kitchen of the restaurant Alcove.
